Our joy can only be as great as the depth of our sorrow.

Grief as a Gateway

A weekly online grief circle

A safe, judgement-free space to share how you feel during this intense time

A compassionate, kind, understanding circle of others to relax in and be yourself

A place to cultivate a new accepting relationship to your emotions and the deeper wisdom they hold

Our culture is largely grief and emotion illiterate. Generally speaking, many don’t have the knowledge or understanding for how to emotionally cope with the hardships of life or how to support others through emotional hardship. Strong emotion is something we are taught to repress or save for our therapist sessions. Even in therapeutic settings, many have a difficult time accessing their grief and anger.

We are living in intense times that are bringing layers of emotion to the surface in us all. It is critical that we learn how to access, identify, safely express, and hold compassionate space for the intense feelings of our loved ones.

In the circle you will gain tools for accessing your grief through:

-writing prompts to gain clarity about what you are feeling

-inner child/self Mothering practices

-sharing

-ways to communicate your feelings and needs to your loved ones during this time

-practices for accessing and expressing all your emotions (anger, grief, exuberance)
