A Call to Worship

In that moment, there was nothing more important. This was it.

For a short time I experienced a profound connection to our world and suddenly awoke to life in a spiritually ecstatic way. My body was moved by the same force that danced the tree branches in the light.

My life really began when

I got the itch. Literally. I woke up one morning to the intense itching and burning of hives covering my eyes. They were so swollen I could barely open them. In addition to severe adrenal fatigue, a hormone imbalance and hair loss, it was yet one more symptom of the stressful lifestyle I had been living for too long.

So, after 25 years of living the hustle of city life and ignoring the whispers to move to nature, I surrendered to that inner voice, packed up the car and found my way to the northern California Redwoods.

As I sat under those ancient trees, and my body healed, I began to hear new whispers. The trees, plants, animals and insects all seemed to hold answers to questions I was asking. And in the quiet stillness of the forest, I could hear the ancient wisdom of my own soul. I began writing it all down.
